Her is a conceptual interior design project that explores atmosphere through the lens of the feminine gaze. Rooted in Angelina Weld Grimké’s poem Your Hands, the project translates poetic tenderness into spatial experience, offering a romanticized, immersive environment where softness, intimacy, and perception intertwine. Through careful manipulation of light, material, and form—like layered fabrics, warm tones, and hand-like architectural gestures—the space invites users to see and feel through a feminine filter. Inspired by cinematic techniques and the dichotomy of masculine vs. feminine design, Her challenges viewers to engage with space emotionally, seeking comfort, empathy, and self-reflection.
