On Our Wrist is a sentimental exploration of memory, material culture, and personal identity through the lens of everyday objects. This photo-essay centers around a vintage Enicar watch gifted to me by my grandmother before I left Egypt to study in London. The project examines how objects gain new meanings beyond their original functions, becoming vessels of emotion and memory. Using photography, observational sketches, orthographic drawings, and reflective writing, I investigate how design and attachment intertwine, transforming an object into a deeply personal symbol of home, heritage, and human connection.
