The Fourth Triangle is a conceptual restaurant design project set at the foot of the Great Pyramids of Giza. Drawing on the design strategy of intervention, the project reimagines the unique triangular space of Chelsea College of Arts as a cultural and architectural homage to Egypt. By fusing historical symbolism with modern aesthetics, the design subtly layers materials, colors, and furnishings that reflect Egypt’s diverse heritage—from Islamic geometric patterns and Nile-inspired glass to locally sourced bentwood chairs. Inspired by the serenity of Shosha Kamal’s interventions and in contrast to the chaotic charm of Ave Mario, the space utilizes ceiling mirrors to reflect pyramid views throughout, referencing ancient theories of Egyptian mirror use. The result is a refined environment that doesn’t just offer a dining experience, but an immersive celebration of Egypt’s timeless spirit.
